YouSpoke.org is a not-for-profit organization that creates opportunities for people who have been affected by suicide. Through painting, music, beat poetry, dance, photography, literature, martial arts, and more, we encourage all kinds of expression by offering creative outlets that allow people to share their story in a safe, comfortable environment. YouSpoke.org aims to open up the lines of communication about suicide in an effort to better understand those who struggle, those we lose, and those who are left behind.
Our gallery is a growing, online archive of various photos, poems, paintings, dances, songs, videos, etc that survivors of suicide have shared with us or that we have created ourselves. You can submit your story no matter how you’ve been affected in a variety of formats (gif, jpg, png, bmp, doc, pdf, fly, mov).
YouSpoke also offers public speaking, running teams, the YouSpoke Children’s Workshop, dance exhibitions, art showings, dance and yoga classes. You can stay updated on YouSpoke’s latest happenings on our event page or facebook page.
